Our After-school Elementary Choice Studio Program is something your child will look forward to every day! for kids entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. This class offers creative exploration time for both those ready for independent artistic challenge or those not sure where to begin. Brief periods of instruction are followed by ample time for creative work. Our artists will connect with their unique creative selves and generate work they can truly call their own.

With instruction in essential techniques and skills each artist will synthesize this learning with their own unique ideas, resulting in authentic self-expression. There is no right or wrong set formula as true self-expression comes from within the artist.  Our choices on offer will be gradually introduced and include all major media: painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, fiber arts and printmaking.  A wide range of tools and materials is available, appropriate to the development of personal interests, in addition to an abundant resource museum and library to inspire ideas and expand upon each concept.

Our artists can choose to work alone, at their own pace, or collaborate with others. The excitement of discovery is essential to our philosophy. Surprises abound!  The mentoring process is hands-on, as our experienced professionals guide each artist through this journey.

Afterschool classes are available from 2:30pm - 5:30pm every school day. Classes are available in two 90 minute blocks per day. Students may attend one class, or both!

Ages: 5 - 13 years

Single 90min. Class Block: $35

School Vacation Studio is something to look forward too!. We are open from 9:00am - 12:00pm on school vacation days. SVS is for kids currently enrolled in Kindergarten through 8th grade, This time is for creative exploration, and collaboration, with support from individualized and small group instruction. Our artists will connect with their unique creative selves and generate work they can truly call their own.
